STAND at BBGNight

On 25 September 2026, the Istanbul Technical University (ITU) team presented the STAND project at BBGNight, part of the European Researchers’ Night activities held at Istanbul Technical University.

About BBG Night

Presenting STAND at ITU

Through a dedicated exhibition booth and poster presentation the team introduced the STAND project’s smart textile approach for diabetic foot care to students and visitors. The presentation highlighted how textile engineering, advanced materials, sensing technologies and data-driven approaches come together within STAND to support the development of next-generation wearable solutions.

The event also provided an opportunity to discuss the project with students and visitors and to raise awareness of the potential of smart textiles in healthcare and interdisciplinary research.

Sharing STAND's research more widely

Participation in BBGNight forms part of STAND’s wider dissemination and public engagement activities, helping to share the project’s research and objectives with audiences beyond the consortium.
